Vested Vice Presidents are responsible for nurturing and growing a portfolio of accounts, leading digital marketing strategies that are highly measurable and align with  the client’s business and sales goals. VP’s manage team members to ensure programs are being delivered above clients’ expectations, and are viewed as one of the ultimate leads on an  account, responsible for the satisfaction of their clients as well as the motivation/effectiveness of their teams and direct reports. Vice Presidents also play a critical role in Vested’s growth as an overall agency and are actively involved in business development and client account growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively consults clients on integrated marketing and communications strategies with a focus on digital strategies across SEO/SEM, paid social, advertising and email marketing in support of achieving business goals such as customer acquisition, brand elevation or market share of voice.

  • Actively works to improve Vested as a global business - top-line revenue, profitability, client portfolio, staffing, cultural, services and more

  • Leads and wins new business pitches - actively participating in first, second and final meetings as well as developing and finalizing proposals and digital strategies independently

  • Upsells additional programs and services to clients through consultation or creative ideas

  • Leads planning and strategy workshops with clients to map business/comms goals and can build effective marketing and communications strategies that achieve those goals

  • Holds a deep, successful relationship with senior-most contacts at client organizations

  • Leverages data to review servicing levels and overall profitability of clients; makes adjustments in servicing as needed

  • Review analytics and reports, layering on insight, strategy and program direction

  • Manages teams successfully to ensure team members are producing high-quality deliverables 

  • Both leads and participates in the execution of programs that receive positive feedback from the client

  • Demonstrates daily leadership in mentoring/guiding the team to ensure program results are exceeding expectations

  • Experience and expertise across a wide range of digital channels and tactics (websites, paid media, social media, programmatic, etc.)

  • Understands full user journey cycles, and is up to date on the latest opportunities provided in platforms to drive traffic, capture data and grow audience loyalty

  • Ability to manage freelancer and freelance budget usage and time planning

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working in an agency or in-house marketing department

  • Experience leading multi-channel programs in the financial services B2B and B2C space

  • Experience in content marketing, branding, lead gen, social media, SEM, web development

  • Experience working with brands from start-up to enterprise-level

  • Strong project management skills and detail-oriented

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Proven performance marketing experience, achieving/beating client KPIs

Tools/platforms:

  • Experience with CRM/Email tools - HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.

  • Experience with analytics/tracking tools – Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio

  • Experience with paid advertising channels/platforms - Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads
