We are currently looking to add a talented Senior Account Manager to support our growing agency. Senior Account Managers are viewed as one of the leads on client accounts and are held accountable for the satisfaction of their clients, as well as the motivation and effectiveness of their teams and direct reports.This individual will be responsible for developing the marketing and communications strategies for their clients while managing team members to ensure programs are being effectively executed. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively consult clients on integrated marketing and communications strategies 
  • Effectively manage account teams to service scope of work with outcomes that meet and exceed client expectations
  • Building strong relationships with clients to retain and grow a portfolio of accounts
  • Leading and participating in all stages of new business pitches
  • Counseling clients in one-to-one settings as a primary strategic partner
  • Helping lead planning and strategy workshops with clients to map business/comms goals
  • Mentoring and training junior team members, and identifying areas for growth and mentorship
  • Overseeing and supporting programs and projects from kickoff through goal achievement
  • Understanding and leading teams to apply traditional and emerging tactics and tolls across the communications spectrum to execute client plans

The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the overall financial services industry
  • Has an in depth knowledge of PR and digital marketing tactics and understands how different channels can be applied to meet objectives
  • Exhibits superb organizational and time management skills 
  • Is able to hold honest, “tough” conversations with client contacts to ensure the client is happy and the account is retained or growing
  • Maintains a professional decorum at all times and acts as a brand ambassador for the agency
  • Can manage up and down to ensure that teams are meeting their deadlines and goals
  • Has a passion for creating excellent and high quality deliverables
  • Maintains a strong spirit of collaboration and encourages teamwork across their accounts
  • Engages and contributes to agency culture
